How we can help your school
Educational Psychology Services for Schools works across a range of settings including nurseries and early years providers, schools, and further and higher education settings. We can help school leaders, such as SENDCos and Directors of Inclusion, who want to put in place impactful learning interventions and wellbeing programmes, by using our psychological expertise to help them see a clear way forward, apply therapeutic techniques and implement evidence-based interventions.
We operates across two areas:

Hertfordshire Hub includes Hertfordshire and surrounding counties (Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Greater London).

Warwickshire Hub includes Warwickshire and the surrounding counties (Coventry, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire).
Practitioner psychologists who work with us are always registered with the Health Care Professional Council.
Ways to access our psychological support for your school

An Annual Contract is designed to enable education settings to overcome the challenges they face in accessing the services they need. Annual contracts give you the security of being able to cut though the bureaucracy and provide early intervention as soon as you have a concern, so you can focus on student wellbeing and progress.

Student needs are often complex, requiring targeted and specialist responses from their education setting. Educational Psychology Services for Schools can help you identify the pupil's needs through specialist assessments- ensuring that this leads to clarity about the provision needed to ensure excellent progress- avoiding the pitfall of putting in place provision that has no impact.

Interested in staff wellbeing?
Using a psychologist to support an individual or group of staff can sustain people in their roles and help them connect to their strengths, as well open up new ways forward with the aspects of the job that feel stuck.
We can also support your school to develop internal supervision policies, processes and procedues.

Responding to a changing SEND needs profile in your setting?
By working with you to match staff development to an analysis of which interventions might be effective, we can enable you to meet the aims of your school & SEND improvement plans through staff workshops, parent training, INSET days- or even modelling how to carry out interventions.
